Merrie I love this protein powder! I have lost 3 pounds in about a week. I use this product as a meal replacement for breakfast and lunch. I add cinnamon to the powder, and I think it is delicious! I drink the first one at 5:30 am, and I get hungry around 10 am, which is perfect because I have a break at work at that time. My only complaint is that I've noticed an increase in having to go to the bathroom. I already drink water pretty often, so this is from this protein drink. I'm a teacher, so having to go to the bathroom so often is problematic. However, I'm not annoyed enough by that to stop use! I love it! Highly recommend it.

jennifer.bolton89 I bought this product as a meal replacement, I use it for breakfast and lunch and the vanilla bean blends the best with everything!Not to mention I have lost 20 pounds in one month! I enjoy mixing 1 tbs of the product with 8 oz of skim milk, 8 oz of ice, and 1 tbs of cheesecake pudding mix along with a hand full of blueberries...makes the BEST blueberry cheesecake shake & super low on calories!

I'll eat a good breakfast, usually salad with chicken tenderloin or grilled fish with veggies for lunch, and a Lean Shake for dinner. I would highly recommend this product for someone who wants to lose or maintain their weight. I feel very energetic with the shake. I've definitely noticed a leaner body which is awesome! I plan to use Lean Shake as a maintenance program to maintain my weight. THANK YOU SO MUCH LEAN SHAKE FOR CHANGING MY LIFE...I OWE IT ALL TO YOU!!!

spagolove I love Lean Shake! The vanilla is delicious. I take the two scoops with either water, almond milk, or half water and half almond milk. I started taking the Lean Shake Vanilla for over a year, after having my second baby. Now I am not your average pregnant woman; I love to eat and grow ravenous in my last trimester with both kids. It was easier losing weight with my first in my 20's but the second one in my now mid 30's difficult to take off that 125 pounds I gained. Yeah I know it's a lot! I worked out (cardio, walks, boot camp) and took this lean shake twice a day and lost 100 pounds in a year. I still need to lose my last 25 pounds to get back down to my pre-pregnancy weight of 140. I'm 5'6. I love this product and will continue using it!

nesmithdynasty I have been using Total Lean Shake for a year now. I only get the vanilla bean flavor. It is awesome for when youre just on the go consistently. It allowed me to focus back in on choosing healthier choices. If you know anyone who is diabetic, this is also a great recommendation. It isnt high in sugars like the shakes in the pharmacy aisles at the major stores. I have lost 35 pounds when I first began to replace breakfast and lunch with these shakes. It will also train and shrink your stomach if you have issues with overeating. Im addicted to lean shakes now!

I drink the shake with Milk (found articles: helps lose weight) instead of Water. Also taste BETTER.



-I drink a shake in the morning.

-I eat a healthy filling meal for lunch.

-I drink a shake for dinner.

The booklet suggests you drink a shake in the morning and at lunch time. Then eat a meal for dinner.



It's actually best to drink a shake in the morning eat a healthy meal for lunch and once you get back home just make your SHAKE. And you won't have to worry about gaining extra calories when you sleep, you'll actually lose more.

Katie_Nicole17 Let me start off by saying im 19 years old, 5'8" tall, and I currently weigh 141 lbs and I have been drinking Total Lean for a month now. I work out often and I run nearly everyday.



I absolutely LOVE Total Lean and I find myself craving it at times. If you have never taken a protien/meal replacement shake before, then I doubt you will like it, or any other shake. But once you try out a few other brands and get use to the "protien" taste, then I am sure you will love GNC Total Lean!



It mixes well as long as you have a shaker cup or a regular blender. It has a good taste to start out with, however it does taste a whole lot better when you mix it into soy milk, or lowfat milk, rather than water. Plus it tastes great when you blend it with fruit(strawberries, bananas, blue berries), cinnamon, peanut butter and other yummy things. Trust me, only drink it cold if you are going to be mixing it with water though!!!



I have the swiss chocolate and vanilla bean and I love them both, but the serving sizes they give you make the shake kind of thick so I had to experiment a bit but over all I still got the same effects and since drinking the shakes I lost 6 lbs and have kept it off(keep in mind I dont have much lbs to lose for my height). And it also keeps me full through out the day.



Typically I drink a shake for breakfast, and then eat a mid-morning snack like almonds, or fruit, something small a few hours later. Then for lunch, again I drink a shake. And a few hours after that I eat another small snack before dinner, sometimes half a turkey sandwich from home if im still hungry. Then for dinner I normally eat whatever I want as long as its generally healthy, but im not too strict about it.



Over-all I think GNC Total Lean is the best tasting, most efficient meal replacement/protien shake for women plus its inexpensive compared to most.

pbening I had thought about using this product for a while and while shopping, I impulsively decided to buy it. It was on sale at [@], so I purchased two for a great price. I was skeptical about using it, I thought the taste would be so bad that I would give up but to my surprise the Vanilla Bean flavor is great! I have been using the shakes for breakfast and lunch as suggested with the enclosed meal plan and I am not starving. I actually have struggled to eat the 1500 calories because the shakes with the fruit or small salad keeps me hunger free. I would reccommend this product for anyone who is extremely over weight and want to lose pounds safely and steadily over a period of time. I have been using this for 12 days and have lost 11 pounds. I restrict my diet to consuming 1200-1500 calories a day, drink at least 8 cups of water a day, and eat healthy balanced meals with the help of a calorie counter to track my calorie intake. The shakes are nutritious and delicious and is helping me achieve my weight loss goals.

je_elliott I started using the Vanilla Bean and I also purchased a Cookies and Cream as I was looking to get over a weightloss plateau. I had already lost about 18lbs and then the scale wouldn't budge! I was skeptical because usually weightloss products perform very well during the beginning of a weightloss program, and that is usually all water weight. Well, I didn't have any "water weight" to lose as I had already been eating very well and exercising 4-5 times per week. I began using this and lost 3lbs in the first week! I have lost a total of 12lbs in about 4 1/2 weeks using this product which is about 3lbs per week and is not excessive (to me anyway)! I like this product because it has some nutritional value, not like a diet pill filled with caffeine and other things that make me feel funny.



I enjoy mixing this with unsweetened plain almond milk (at 35 calories/cup and 50% more calcium that milk,it's worth it!) and the milk makes the drink creamier and more tasty. In addition, I add in a handful of berries or a half of a banana to add some more nutrition. I really like the vanilla bean the best, it seems to go well with any fruit. I did like the cookies and cream with banana, it tastes like a chocolate banana shake! YUM! And I'm a chocoholic and KNOW what good shakes taste like:-) Overall I do enjoy this product and will continue using it until I hit my goal weightloss of about 45lbs. I may continue having it for breakfast even after I hit my goal, for the nutritional value!



The only real cons are that if you don't drink it right away after making it, it gets very thick and hard to swallow. Also, when I first started using it I experienced some loose stools and some gas. My sister had one of the shakes with me and she had never used the product before and also felt some gas after drinking it. But after using it for a few days, the gas and loose stools subsided.



Overall it's a good weightloss product!
