Marie Meal replacement

jpmsimpson I purchased the two boxes of the vanilla bean Lean Shake 25 (ready made shakes. I started Nov 10, 2014 and its Nov 14.....in four days I lost 8 pounds....mind you I have a shake for breakfast eat a good lunch (sandwhich, salmon and brown rice, hot wings/these were the foods I ate for lunch over the days) and have a shake for dinner. This is my second time trying a meal replacement shake the first one was slimfast way back in the day. But these shakes right here are a godsent. I've been pleasingly full after each shake. I'm going to keep up with this product because I love the way it tastes and its rewarding when I get on the scale. I will post an update next month, and mind you I only went to the gym once this week. I have lots of energy lol, its insane....But i love this thing already......I love reading these comments on here gives me good motivation!!

melissatonna I never take the time to write reviews but I absolutely LOVE this shake. For the past year or so, was drinking GNC's Be Buff shake which is also great tasting (for a protein shake), but decided to try Lean Shakes as they had a promotion going on. So about a month ago I tried the regular Lean Shake (Cookies and Cream is my absolute fav). I was shocked to notice I dropped a couple pounds by the regular Lean Shake.

Anyhow, I don't know what it is about them, but they do seem to leave me results. The reason why I know this is because I had bought a supply, lost a couple pounds (I weigh myself every morning)...stopped doing the shake as I still had Be Buff left over and the lbs came back. Then I got back onto Lean Shake...lost the lbs AGAIN (mind you, I already live a very healthy lifestyle of working out 5-7 days a week along with a pretty strict diet of veggies, fruit, and protein so I'm at a point where it's really hard to lose weight at this point)...so it is obvious to me that whatever that's in these shakes definitely live up to the results.

Anyhow, so after loving the regular Lean Shake, I decided to cave in and buy the Lean Shake 25 because nutritionally speaking...it's even BETTER than the regular: lower sugar, MUCH higher protein content, higher fiber, and lower fat too I believe. So for the extra money, you are definitely getting extra value.

On top of that, I do feel full and I personally LOVE the taste (the chocolate is the BEST, the vanilla...not going to lie, surprisingly not as great tasting on its own but I still buy this one to blend with fruit). I try to avoid sweets and look at these shakes as my dessert as it fulfills my sugar cravings (while being very low in sugar thankfully)...

Yes, I do feel they are kind of expensive, but to me it's totally worth it because they are delicious (very addictive actually, I honestly think I end up drinking way more than the serving size...I can't help it), provide nutrients, AND it's so much easier for me to stay slim when I incorporate these shakes in my already healthy lifestyle.

Oh, and I don't use these as a "meal replacement"...I eat little meals throughout the day, so I pair the shake up with a little meal. I don't see why not since my diet is already healthy and find that I'm still achieving results doing it this way.

Also, I either stir the powder with water or unsweetened almond milk. Like I said, I love the taste, so it doesn't matter to me which I mix. Mixing with almond milk gives it a nice creamy taste which I slightly favor more, but I have NO problem blending it with water.

erickalynn90 Over the years, this has been the BEST tasting meal replacement/protein shake out of all the ones I've tried, hands down! Mixed with water, this shake is creamy and doesn't have the grainy shake taste. I actually look forward to drinking it every day because it's that yummy. As a veterinary student, it's also very convenient and quick to have these shakes for breakfast and lunch (while having a regular dinner). I usually pair them with an apple, applesauce, carrot sticks, a hard-boiled egg, or chick peas. Most times I can't even finish the side snack after drinking the shake because it's that filling! I just started getting back into working out, and do cardio and some weight lifting 4-6 days of the week. In 2.5 weeks I've lost 8lbs. Even more importantly, I've had much more energy and been in a wonderful mood since drinking these shakes. I love them!

babysmomma228 I went to Kaiser's free weight loss program orientation. The program was going to cost $700.00 a month. The first phase of their program is 16 weeks of total meal replacement. They use a product called Optifast. I decided to do the program on my own and found that Total Lean 25 is very comprable to the Optifast. And much much more affordable. I started the first week in Nov, drinking 4 shakes a day, every three hours, and eating a protein bar and night. I have now lost 30lbs. My energy is through the roof. I started at 230. My goal is to finish out the 16 weeks which will take me to the end of Feb. Then, I will slowly add back in low calorie meals to replace the shakes. After the first week, it was easy. I drink the already made shakes and the powdered ones for a variety of flavors. My favorite is the banana powder. You have to drink LOTs of water and to satisfy my salt cravings, I drink a small cup of bullion every now and then. I love Total Lean 25 and feel fantastic!

moonlightpaint I have been using total lean for 8 weeks and I have lost 48lbs so far it is the only product that has worked for me.

joplinfan1972 So the age-long debate... exactly how much protein does one need ESPECIALLY if I'm not some hard-core athlete? AND... how much is too much protein?

Well, I'm no biology/ medical expert - but I know my own body and the Total Lean 25 shakes have been a God-send to me in my quest to drop this excess weight.

My biggest problem with any healthy eating/ diet that I've ever tried is I'm always SO DANG HUNGRY! These shakes REALLY FILL ME UP - I can go hours without eating and it doesn't even phase me. It is making all of the difference in the world as far as allowing me to keep my calories in vs. calories out in check. I've dropped 10 lbs in less than a month.

Am I gym rat? Hardly! I do know that while reducing calroic intake, it is good to keep working out so I don't lose muscle mass - and I am doing just that. So, I get in a moderate 30 +/- minute workout about 4-5 days a week. So some might think that 25 grams of protein daily is too much for my lifestyle. I don't know about that. All I know is that it is working! I'm staying full & satisfied, my blood sugar is remaining constant throughout the day, and overall I feel better than I have in a long time. Plus - I'm down 10 lbs! Woot! Woot!

Did I mention it taste good too? At first I tried just shaking it up with a blender bottle (bottle with wire mesh inside, to aide with mixing). I do NOT recommend that method of preparation. But throw some ice, water, and the pwder in a blender... and let it blend for a full 1.5 - 2 minutes and you will be in for a delicious, rich, creamy treat.

Throw a banana or frozen fruit in every now & then for a little variety.

Very yummy!

Here's looking forward to my next 20 lbs gone and lots more yummy shakes! Good luck to you, too!

summerluvus I"m not one to leave reviews but I had to on this shake ..I've always been a small person and would use slim fast to drop few pounds now that I'm older 47 years old I had gained few pounds got on slim fast and it just wouldn't work ..My son recommended to try Lean Shake so I did ..I took shake for breakfast ate a small lunch and took my second shake in evening for dinner and I felt full didn't snack at night and after two weeks on it I went from 123lbs to 116 lbs pounds and Im 5"2 Petite frame ...7lbs in two weeks I'm back into my skinny jeans ..I never felt hungry or any side effects and it tastes good ..Now I'm doing one shake to maintain .Lean shake made it quick and so easy and gave me energy and the nutrients I needed .Im sticking to this product

sharonne I needed to reduce my caloric intake in a major way and was use to having big meals in the evening to include fast food, fried chicken, rice n gravy, greens, Big Macs, etc. Eating like this had me big as a house, literally, but the evening hunger seemed set in stone. Meal replacements to me tasted like chalk or chocolate shake wannabees and left me wanting to puke or left me more hungry and asking "where's the beef?". I googled a high protein low carb shake that would taste good and be filling and ran across reviews of this product. Usually I have to really work with protein shakes adding cocoa, vanilla flavoring, fruit, peanut butter, bananas, almond milk, the works. With this product, all I need is 5 strawberries, 1.5 scoops, 8 oz of water and a bit of ice and I'd swear I'm at Dairy Queen enjoying a chocolate cherry blizzard. The drink is filling, delicious, and 200 calories, which is really hard to believe because it tastes like a 600 calorie strawberry chocolate milkshake from a fast food restaurant and also, because of the vitamins, I awake refreshed each morning and still not hungry.
